Mahalakshmi Vrata (or Varalakshmi Vrata) is a religious holiday performed by married Hindu ladies, who want to seek blessings of the Goddess Lakshmi.

This auspicious holiday is practiced on the Friday just before the full moon day in the month of "Sravana" of the Hindu calendar.

A simple incident that indicates us that what vibrations and thoughts we put into our work ...the same will be reflected back at us.

Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life.
A way of life which is the 'total of all aachaaraas or customs and rituals'...
Many of us follow these Aachaaraas but dont know the thinking behind them.
