Swamiji has quite a large following in USA and this year he visited USA with Ammaji to meet them, and attend the wedding of one his devotees. The young couple were thus blessed by Swamiji in person on this auspicious occasion.

We present to you a few excerpts about his trip from a description he gave to his devotees in a Satsang.

Swamiji was very pleased to meet all the devotees there and hear about their experiences with Lord Hanuman.

One such devotee expressed to Swamiji his gratitude for bringing about a change in his life and beliefs. It had so happened that during Swamiji's last visit, this devotee had come in contact with Swamiji. In this session,the devotee had been advised that he was about to see some changes in his life for good and that his house would be showered with kids soon. During this visit, Swamiji visited the same devotees residence and was happy that with Hanumanji's grace, the devotees sons and daughter did have children in the interim. Thus, Swamiji's word had come to be true.

Another instance of a devotees experience just goes to show us that though Swamji may not be with us in person, he is still there with us. While he was in US, a devotee of his from India was in intense pain. The doctors had advised him that he had to be operated for Appendicitis and immediately as they thought the case was critical. In his pain, this devotee could only seek the one he trusted most - Swamiji, so he called Swamiji in US - looking for guidance in the situation. Swamiji told him not to worry and that there would be no need for the operation. He also asked the devotee to prepare juice of banana stem and drink the same. It is definitely no wonder for Swamji's devotees that on following these instructions given by Swamiji this devotee was cured of his pain and astonished the doctors who had to later advise against the operation.

SWamiji also talked to his devotees about his meeting another gentleman, who had moved to US many many years ago. Swamiji observed how this person had had to struggle to make a living by working 2 jobs and making ends meet for his family. Thus, noting that although this individual had worked non-stop for almost 18 hours a day 7 days a week since as long as he could remember. Yet, what had he got - his body has been abused with over-working, he has lost his health and aged to look much elder than he really is - all to achieve something that he cannot retain on his final most important journey when death arrives.

Swamiji thus reminded all those present that no one carrys with him anything when he has to leave. Even given drastic earthly situation like the one faced by people in Lebanon, when you have to flee if ever that happens to you, you will not be able to carry much with you - a bag or two - what all can you fit into that...
Live life baggage free and it will easy for you to go anywhere that you may have to go - Life will be full of pleasure and much easier as well.

On his way from US, Swamiji stopped in London for a few days. London as we al know does have a considerably large Indian community. A gathering was organised by Swamiji's devotees in London so anyone interested in meeting Swamiji could get the oppurtunity to do so. In this gathering, Swamiji came across a lot of them saying "Jai Shri Krishna" thus realising that they were believers of Lord Krishna, but at the same time not being aware of Lord Hanuman and his importance in the Hindu religious context of Mahabharat (many people think the presence of Lord Hanuman is limited to the Ramayana) and how he has a presence in the war that plays a major role in the Mahabharat.
Thus, Swamiji was able to talk to this sabha (gathering of people) about Lord Hanuman, how he was requested by Lord Krishna to give his blessings to the Pandavas and their fight for justice and how Lord Hanuman stayed by the side of the Pandavas, though he did not fight physically in the war, but was present all through and let his powers be with the Pandavas by being the sign of Arjuna's chariot flag symbol.
Such are the powers of Lord Hanuman knowing which made Lord Krishna ask for his presence! Such are the powers of Lord Hanuman that his presence on Arjuna's chariot was sufficient to help the Pandavas win the war of good over evil!
Thus, Swamiji though it is important for us to remember Lord Krishna, it is good once in a while for us to remember Lord Hanuman as well. So while you say "Jai Shri Krishna" say "Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bajrangabali" as well. It only do you good... No harm will come of it.
