Swamiji's blessings bring in us the confidence and faith to undertake challenges in life, which we are not prepared for.
I had lost one eye sight years ago and my second eye too was turning into stone. I had already undergone 3 operations with negative result and wasn't' mentally or monetarily prepared to give one more chance. In contrast, the eye surgeon who had operated me earlier was not willing to let me go and recommended it as absolute necessary to undergo one more operation; to save the little sight I could see ie upto distance of 10 meters.
I approached Swamiji to seek his advise and he too said everything would be good and to go ahead with operation. I whole-heartedly followed Swamiji's advise, though mentally I was not prepared or I did not even had funds. The eye surgeon told me not to worry about funds as he would try to reduce the amount. The Operation was successful and surgeon surprisingly waived my entire payment, despite the fact he was working for a private hospital. My family and I were in a complete stake of shock, when we are informed by doctor that the operation was completely free of charge and the surgeon was pleased to save my eye-sight.
Earlier to above incident in my life, I would like to share another experience which had a life changing impact on my family. This incident dates years ago, when my son was running forwarding company. One of his regular customers had asked him to pay on his behalf for container which was not collected for over 3 months and scheduled for auction. The consignee (his client), asked him to provide a cheque to the customs solely for the purpose of stopping auction. And he promised to make payments within 2 days, when he would return from his home country. 2 days passed away and the bank was asking for funds. We tried all our contacts to get in touch with client, but he suddenly seemed to be absconding. We were in panic mode, realizing the client might not turn up and we would have to settle funds with the bank and we did not have fluid money to immediately settle payment. On the 4th day we called Swamji to seek his advice, and he rightly pointed out we were wrong to act on verbal promise without any binding legal paper work with client. Swamiji, also said things would be alright soon and we should learn from our mistakes. No sooner, we spoke to Swamiji, the client turned up in country and quickly transferred money in the account, just in time before the bank was going to declare bounced cheque. Had the client been late by more than a day, we would incur a black mark on our business for bounce cheque. This incident strengthened our belief in Swamiji and made us realize to consciously watch OUR every action.
