I would like to share one of the miracles I have experienced in my life.
In 1998, I was suffering from severe back problem. Whenever I walked for even a short distance, my thigh would start aching. I did pay a visit to hospital and got my back and thigh X-rayed. The report turned out to be clean and so the doctor prescribed heat treatment and pain killers. However, the problem did continue for 2 years, and my pain never subsided. With no apparent improvement, in my condition, doctor advised me to go for MRI test, which turned out to be positive and reported slip disc of lower spinal chord bones.
Doctor advised me to sleep straight on floor and avoid carrying any weight or slightest bending. He said I could only be cured by Operation, though he could not guarantee success. The doctors also recommended me to seek a second opinion as I was about to go to India.
One day prior to our departure for India, we happened to meet Swamiji at a pooja he was performing at a devotee's place.
I shared my problem with Swamiji, and expressed my apprehension of being operated. Swamiji blessed me saying I would heal soon without being operated. He said "Go and enjoy holidays and you would return smiling without any pain" . He advised me visit Sitla Devi's temple and offer tender coconut to Hanumanji and do Seven times parikrama and to offer tender coconut to any needy person in next 5 days.
Hearing his wonderful words I already started feeling better. During my stay in India, I did take a second opinion from a prestigious hospital, where again I was asked to go for Operation. However, by this time I was already feeling better after following Swamiji's advise and I decided to postpone the decision.
On my return from my holidays, I felt very good, like I never felt before, without even going for any Operation. Since then, we always feel Swamji is with us and seek his blessings.
